Stewardship Ministries

 stewardship_ministriesThe Adventist Stewardship is based on the following bible text:

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” (Mark 12:30)

“From the cross of Calvary Christ asks for an unreserved consecration. Everything we have, everything we are must be dedicated to God”. – Fé Pela Qual Eu Vivo – Daily Devotional 1959, p. 144.

The Stewardship Ministries aims to actively support the church’s mission (making disciples) through faithful stewards and spiritually revived daily. Five goals stand out among the many that have been established as action targets:

  • Train members and leaders to implement the principles of Christian stewardship;

  • Introduce the lifestyle in which the person lives in unity and partnership with God according to the Bible;

  • Motivate members and ministries to grow in habitual communion with God in order to allow the Holy Spirit to lead them in worship, dedicating your body, mind, time, talents, Spiritual Gifts, relationships, influence, language, environment and material goods;

  • Show the role of the Holy Spirit as a guide in the context of fellowship to the practice of systematic charitable;

  • Teach and promote biblical insights about the tithes and offerings as elements of worship that are returned to God and that He intended to use as resources to provide the financial support of the Church as the body of Christ.
